Teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) is a skills-based training that teaches high school students (ages 15-18, grades 10-12) how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among their friends and peers. tMHFA trainings can be held for teens at schools and/or youth-serving organizations.  The program equips young people with the knowledge and skills they need to take care of their own mental health and to support each other, including how to get the help of a trusted adult.
